Ibrahimovic möchte Coronavirus bekämpfen und bittet um Unterstützung

Zlatan Ibrahimovic hat einen Fundraiser in die Wege geleitet, um Krankenhäuser in Italien zu unterstützen, das Land, das europaweit am schwersten vom Coronavirus betroffen ist.

Via Instagram erklärte Ibrahimovic: „Italien hat mir immer so viel gegeben und in dieser dramatischen Zeit möchte ich dem Land, das ich liebe, noch mehr zurückgeben.“

Ibrahimovic, der derzeit zum dritten Mal bei der AC Milan aktiv ist, soll nach Angaben der BBC bereits zwei Mal 50.000 Euro gespendet haben. Bereits eine Stunde nach seinem Post sollen über 100.000 Euro zusammen gekommen sein. Der 38-jährige Schwede hofft auf mehr: „Ich zähle auf die Großzügigkeit meiner Kollegen, professioneller Athleten und derer, die gemäß ihrer Möglichkeiten eine kleine oder große Spende beisteuern können. Zusammen können wir Krankenhäusern, Ärzten und Krankenpflegern helfen, die täglich selbstlos arbeiten, um unsere Leben zu retten. Heute sind wir diejenigen, die sie anfeuern!“

Ibrahimovic beendete seinen Aufruf auf typische Zlatan-Art: „Lasst uns den Coronavirus weg treten und das Spiel gewinnen. Denkt daran: Wenn das Virus nicht zu Zlatan geht, geht Zlatan zum Virus“
