Benfica leiht Goncalo Guedes aus

Die Wolverhampton Wanderers lassen ihren Sommer-Neuzugang Goncalo Guedes (26) schon wieder ziehen – zumindest per Leihe. Der im Sommer für 32 Millionen Euro von Valencia verpflichtete Offensivspieler schließt sich bis zum Saisonende Benfica Lissabon an. Das bestätigten die Vereine am Freitagmittag. Benfica zahlt laut Transfer-Experten Fabrizio Romano während der Leihe das Gehalt von Guedes.

Für Guedes ist der Wechsel in die portugiesische Heimat eine Rückkehr zu den Wurzeln. Er stammt aus der Jugend von Benfica, die aktuell von Roger Schmidt trainiert werden und an der Spitze der portugiesischen Liga stehen. Bei den Wolves absolvierte Guedes in der laufenden Saison 18 Partien und traf dabei zwei Mal.
